Overview
The world of Crimsonheart Chronicles is divided into four major human nations and four spiròt territories. The nations are the Kingdom of Ormilla beneath the Ormillian Ocean to the south, with its capital, Ondina, near the centre; the Uayat Alliance to the north and west, consisting of sixteen provinces, including the capital, Gnoma City; the Endellion Empire between them, with its capital, St. Salaman, on the Salaman River; and Arivolli, which consists of the capital city of Sylphicus, which floats in the sky, and research facilities that exist at the borders of other nations.
The fire and earth spiròts live at the borders of Endellion and Uayat respectively, in the territories named Yidji'íñokhlaçi and Bagí'íñokhlaçi. Wodi'íñokhlaçi, the water spiròt territory, lies within Ormilla's borders and is considered a part of Ormilla. Hlúdli'íñokhlaçi, on the other hand, is a spiròt territory only in name, since the air spiròts are citizens of Arivolli, living either within Sylphicus or travelling the world.
A number of major known landmarks of the ancient spiròts are also depicted on the map shown above, including the Tower of Truth in the south and the Astrolabe Athenaeum in the far north, as well as the four monoliths, the fire monolith in the Prismwood, the water monolith in the Mirrorweed, the earth monolith among the Hollow Mountains, and the air monolith in Starlight Valley.
The map doesn't show all locations and landmarks of the known world, nor does it show all the geographical details of each region. Instead, the map shows major known landmarks and regional divisions within each nation, as well as representative geography for each region. For example, the Uayatan provinces of Darrow and Oren are known to be heavily forested, and so their borders and interiors are depicted with trees. The precise geographic details of these regions may vary compared to what is shown on the map.
